- Mrs. Dorothy Carolyn Maddox Hewitt, 22, wife of Jimmy P. Hewitt of 2821 Royal St., Augusta, Georgia, entered into rest Sunday, September 10, 1967, in Macon, Ga., as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Elliott Sons Chapel with the Rev. F.H. Prickett officiating. Burial will be in West View Cemetery. A native of Augusta, she had lived here all of her life. Survivors, other than husband, include two daughters, Lisa and Susan Hewitt, both of Augusta; mother, Mrs. Mildred Walker; Augusta; father, Daniel Maddox, Augusta; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Leona Shouse, Augusta; one sister, Miss Maytrice Maddox, Augusta; and several aunts and uncles.
