In January, 1846, Royal Hankla, Sr. and Elizabeth his wife, donated to the South Fork-Nolin Baptist Church one acre of land which is included in the lot upon which the present church house stands. The church is situated on the South Fork of Nolyn on the Aetna Furnace Road, five miles south of Hodgenville, LaRue County, Kentucky.
