- Vincent F. Foltz, Age 77, of Canton, passed away Wednesday afternoon in Mercy Medical Center following a brief illness. Born in N. Canton he was the son of the late Emerson J. & Blanche J. (Hinkel) Foltz and was a U.S. Veteran serving in the Air Force, He retired from General Motors was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and St. Peter's Holy Name/ Men's Club. Vince enjoyed Nascar racing and was an avid Cleveland sports fan including the Indians, Cavaliers and Browns. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers: Maurice Foltz, Virgil Foltz; sisters: Dolores Eder, Catherine Norris, Gertrude Haney, Isabelle Gcream Mary Hoehn, Genevieve Losse, Alice Johanning and Helen Foltz. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years: Pauline J. (Strbavy) Foltz, of the home; sons: Douglas V. (Georgann) Foltz, of N. Canton, James J. (Rosemary) Foltz, of Sparks, NV; daughters: Kristine M. Foltz, of Canton Kathleen M. Moriarty, of Canton; brothers: Emerson (Betty) Foltz, of N. Canton, Harold Foltz, of E. Canton, Raymond Foltz, of N. Canton; sisters: Monica (Roy) Dimmerling, of E. Canton, Ann (Dick) Gottsman, of Canton; grandchildren: Ashlee, Tyler, Steven, Michael, Kristen, Nathan and Julianna. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Peter Catholic Church with Msgr. John C. Finnigan as celebrant. Burial with Military honors will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday evening from 5-8 pm in the Wackerly Funeral Home. The St. Peter's Holy Name/ Men's Club will hold a prayer service at 4:45 pm Sunday in the funeral home.
