Thirza Faye Whisenhunt our beloved mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother went home to be with her Heavenly Father May 18, 2003 at an OKC hospital after an extended illness. She was born December 14, 1941 in Wichita Falls, TX to Henry F. and Margaret Grissom. She was retired from FAA, Aircraft Registration Branch in OKC after 30 years of service. We will treasure the time we had with her and will miss her more than words can express. She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory, two sons, Arron L. Tindell and wife Regina and Scott Coleman and wife Sylvia all of OKC. Two sisters, Eula M. Volz and husband Al of St. Louis, MO., Anna Marie Lennon and husband John of Mustang, two brothers, Richard Grissom of San Diego, CA. and Kenneth Grissom of La Crescenta, CA. Also by six grandchildren, three great grandchildren as well as a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband B.J. Whisenhunt, one daughter Renee Tindell Burkhalter and two brothers Henry and Fletcher Grissom. Services will be held at 2PM on Wednesday, May 21, 2003 in the Chapel of The Good Shepherd at McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service with interment to follow in Yukon Cemetery.
