Obituary
Ovid Forsythe, 86, of Caldwell Co., KY passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Baptist Health of Paducah following a short illness.
He was retired from ITT Grinnell, a self-employed farmer, an Army Veteran having fought in the Korean War, and a member of Eddy Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Robertson Forsythe, Caldwell Co., KY; one son, John Forsythe & wife, Christi, Caldwell Co., KY; one daughter, Becky Goin & husband, Charles, Graves Co., KY; two grandchildren, Michael Forsythe & wife, Julie, Pembroke, KY; Janet Forsythe, Caldwell Co., KY; two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Emma Forsythe; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Eugene Forsythe and Josephine Jones Forsythe; five brothers, Elwood, Hoy, Willie, Lynn, & Elmo Forsythe; and four sisters, Anna Louise Forsythe, Margie Harper, Marie Forsythe, and Mary Lawrence.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, January 9, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton with Bro. Leslie Joyce officiating assisted by Bro. Ken Cummins. Burial will follow in Eddy Creek Church Cemetery in Caldwell County with military rights.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at Morgan's.
Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton are in charge of the arrangements.
